Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former worker in a factory. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone, who was gifted when she was young children, began in second grade at five. Stone graduated from high school with a certificate from Saegertown which is located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. She also competed in Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. In the following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. She soon relocated to Europe and spent a full year living in Milan and Paris. Stone did, however, become frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She chose to keep her acting career going as an actress while living in Europe. At 20, she appeared in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories" which received mixed reviews.
